Thanksgiving in Hong Kong

Turkey from Magnolia Thanksgiving in Hong Kong will never be the same as gathering around a table with family and friends back home. This year, my husband and I may have been thousands of miles from home, but we were able to enjoy quite the delicious Thanksgiving feast with friends.

Thanks to 3 Star Backer, we gathered at Konzepp, a concept design space in Sheung Wan, for a potluck including two large birds – a 25-lb turkey from Magnolia, a Cajun private kitchen in Sheung Wan (turkey pictured above), and a smaller turkey from Mandy’s Kitchen, a Caribbean private kitchen in Sai Kung.

We brought our corn casserole, which was a hit! Other dishes I had more than one serving of: shepherd’s pie and red beet salad.

When it came to dessert, I enjoyed a fabulous cheesecake and sweet potato pie (with marshmallows on top!).
