Prune Flan Cake

My husband and I are spending a week back in California for his birthday and to visit our families. By coincidence, one of my husband’s cousins from France is visiting his family for the summer. He happens to be a professional French chef! Safe to say we are eating like kings 🙂

Here’s Matthieu’s recipe for prune flan cake. It’s delicious. I love the texture and, to my surprise, it’s quite easy to make!

1 L Milk
6 eggs
160 grams butter
250 grams Flour
200 grams Sugar
1/2 C Rum
Pinch of Salt
1/2 C Dried Prunes

Cook for 50 minutes at 375 degrees Farenheit.
