Jenna Boller (a.k.a. moisie darling)

“Moisie” is a nickname for “moi moi,” which is Cantonese for “little sister.” Growing up, my family always called me moisie (my mother is Cantonese). My older sister calls me moisie darling, I guess it stuck.

In college, I started a fake catering company, moisie’s catering, which specialized in top notch hors d’oeuvres and tea parties for various events around campus, including luncheons at our main library, a reception for our annual Viennese Ball and tea at a local British art gallery.

My dream is to one day own a tea room and restaurant. I’d probably settle for a bed and breakfast, too. In the meantime, I’m writing about what’s cooking.

You can follow me on Twitter under my real name.
